By accessing or using Based Crosswords ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Based Crosswords is a mobile crossword game featuring AI-generated content based on Polish internet culture, slang, and memes. The game includes:

  • Battle mode gameplay against AI opponents
  • In-app purchases for premium features
  • Rewarded video advertisements
  • User progress tracking

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the App
  • Use bots or automated tools to play the game
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. In-App Purchases

5.1 Payment

In-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law.

5.2 Subscriptions

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions through your app store account.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective policies.

6. Content

6.1 Our Content

All game content, including crossword puzzles, images, and text, is owned by Based Crosswords or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

6.2 AI-Generated Content

Some content is generated using AI. While we strive for accuracy and appropriateness, we cannot guarantee all content will be suitable for all users.

7. Advertising

The App may display advertisements. By using the App, you agree to view these advertisements. Rewarded video ads provide in-game benefits.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.
